My time at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design (RMCAD) as an online interior design major has been a surprisingly positive experience. I was initially apprehensive about studying design online, but RMCAD made the transition smooth and manageable. The courses were straightforward, and I always had access to help whenever I got stuck. This level of support really eased my concerns about learning design remotely. The internal scholarships available to all applicants were a huge help financially. However, more interactive tools and live feedback opportunities could improve the experience. Virtual group projects or live design critiques would be a great addition, helping to build a stronger sense of community among students. Overall, RMCAD offers a solid online education with good support and financial aid.

My experience at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design has been very positive. The professors and other members that work at the college are very helpful. They push you to your fullest potential and do not give up on you. I have grown here and pushed myself creatively like I never have before. I see growth in myself as a better designer and person. I like how the classes focus on sustainability which is important for the health of earth. Teaching us how to be successful in fashion and or as a business owner. Giving us the necessary skills that we need in the fashion field. I wouldn't want to see any change as this school is doing good as is.

As a freshman, I appreciated the user-friendly interface and easy to navigation . I also appreciated the ability to personalize my profile and tailor it to my preferences. Furthermore, I was impressed by the staff’s willingness to provide assistance and their encouragement to seek help when encountering challenges. Their proactive approach in checking in on individuals demonstrates their commitment to providing support and ensuring a positive college experience.

So far, I think this is a great school because it is online. They do have a campus, but I really wanted something I can continue online because of my work schedule. It is easy for me to continue my studies without having to worry about leaving work on time, traffic, parking, or anything like that. They are still very helpful and any questions I have, they respond in a timely manner.

I love that this school has several different start dates. Which I found to be very helpful with the type of schedule that I have. The teacher are very attentive to student that have question and they provide excellent and detailed feed back. Some thing that I would like to see change is the length of breaks we get between semester. I would prefer to get a longer break due to the overwhelming amount of week we get in classes. Beside that I have had an amazing experience taking my online classes.

The staff is supportive and helpful. Most professors are understanding of each student being unique and having different backgrounds, though there are some that are more rigid and unfriendly. I am a fully online student, so some of this may be perception based. Something I do not like is the availability of classes for having a larger class-load. All the classes have to be spaced out.

I have been with RMCAD for 4.5 years now and have been an active student for a little over 3 years now. I have loved my interior design classes and the amount of feedback and resources our instructors and the school offers. They truly do want to see us succeed, not just pass a class.

It has been such a great experience so far here at RMCAD. I am learning all kinds of new things that I can definitely use in the future with my career. The teachers are all so kind and helpful, and the students have all been very supportive and give great critiques. The courses have been very thought out and perfect with the time we have to do them.

My experience at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design has been outstanding. The professors are knowledgeable, available, and willing to explain difficult topics. I like the way the course work is designed, and how easy it is to obtain online assignments and submit the completed assignments online. I have not had any difficulties in enrolling for online classes or finding the specific courses to complete my major. Overall, I would say that RMCAD is a college worth applying to if you are wanting to major in animation.

Despite being a student for an online program, Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design offers an abundant amount of resources for all students which makes one completely immersed in learning despite the distance. The professors are also very receptive and easy to communicate with which makes for an ideal environment for any student with questions or concerns. The work assigned is not overwhelming yet it is more than challenging enough to notice self-growth throughout the courses’ duration.

I really love it here. A majority (not all) of the professors are incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and interactive with their students. Considering I am an online student, this really surprised me. A lot of the professors seem to really care about their students improving and will do everything they can to help support it. As an artist, I have really realized things about my process in a deeper way and discovered new things to consider, which has overall made me a much better, and more efficient, artist. I have only been here two years, and I am excited to see what I will be like after my next two.

The intake program they offer is very understandable and comprehensible. Immediately, you are connected to an advisor that will hear your story and give you some good instruction! Everyone is very friendly. Constantly, I am receiving more information that I need to learn. I’m so very relieved and greatful to hear all the upcoming news and current events when it comes to my schooling.

My journey at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design has been a mix of encouragement and challenges. Taking on the pursuit of my dream to become a 2D Animator was a moment of joy and excitement, yet I quickly realized the immense effort required to turn that dream into reality. Despite the challenges, being immersed in these classes has been eye-opening. I've come to appreciate the uniqueness and diversity of art, much like the diversity found in people. I'm grateful to be part of this school and its atmosphere, where creativity thrives and perspectives abound.

Learning about Art Expression in all of its forms has been an enlightening journey. It has been a roller coaster of emotions at RMCAD but what seems to be questionable or difficult at times always has a beautiful way of elevating me as an artist in the end. I've questioned my abilities and even curriculum in the past but have realized that I have the capability to apply my artistic knowledge to these projects which in turn, bring out the best of me. After the first few months at RMCAD, I had the epiphany that the end goal of getting a Bachelors Degree in Illustrative Design isn't the most valuable element of school, it's the process/journey of getting there, making it priceless.

I love that Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design is a smaller college. Everyone knows everyone. And everyone is like myself. I don't feel that I have to fit in or feel the pressure of trying to be someone that I am not. All the professors are super nice. They take the time to help you learn in class or on your project that you're working on. While I am currently a full time student they allow me to choose the best schedule for my classes so I am not feeling over worked. One thing that I wish I had more time for is meeting up with the financial department. I want to sign up for more scholarships to help pay for college. Since this is a private school they don't have dorms, so I am living in a apartments across town. So meeting up with them I can see what scholarships they have available so I can apply to help with the cost. I am a 1st generation college student who was raised by a single mom and living on a Native American Indian Reservation. Any way I can help pay I will

I am in the Interior Design with Specialization in Sustainability program at RMCAD. They are accredited and have a unique and fast-moving schedule of semesters made up of 2, 8 week time periods of 2 classes at a time. This is really nice as the classes go by quickly and more time can be spent on only 2 classes at a time. The classes that I am taking are set up really well and are easy to follow and reference in an online class forum. They have developed it to be extremely accessible for both the instructors and students to communicate, I have never had a communication error. I highly recommend this program.

The online interface is good. It works and the UI of the site is not bad. The content is not being consistent carefully monitored, however. Some assignments will have outdated information or broken attachments and links. Occasionally there’s grammar issues as well. Not exactly professional and interrupts the education experience, particularly if attachments or embedded links do not work. There isn’t time to waste with submitting tickets or sending the professor a message and waiting for a response when assignments and projects are due multiple times a week, every single week. There’s also isn’t enough time allowed to order textbooks. The syllabi is sent out, at most, a week in advance though this is not always the case. Textbooks need to be ordered and delivery times can significantly vary, particularly during semesters near holidays. Assignments and discussions are still required to be completed beginning week 1. That is absurd.
